unsweetened applesauce

unsulphured molasses

baking soda
dissolved in 1 1/4 tsp water

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325˚.
Sir flour and spices in a medium bowl and set aside.
In a separate, larger bowl mix in applesauce, then mix in molasses.
Slowly add flour mixture and baking soda mixture and mix well.
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silipat liners. Spoon dough onto baking sheets in teaspoon-sized drops, about 20-24 in all.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until no longer soft in the center. Remove from baking sheets to cool.
